(quilting patterns) Quilters Help Support Main Street (Portsmouth Daily Times)
Lissa McKinney, Sharon Scott, Margaret Orlett and Alice Gardner stand beside a donated quilt that will be auctioned off to benefit Main Street Portsmouth. The Down by the River Quilt Guild has donated a quilt to Main Street Portsmouth. The American Red Cross, the Portsmouth Police Department, the Scioto County Sheriffâs office, the Homeless Shelter, the Marsh House, Stepping Stone House, Sierraâs Haven for abandoned animals, the Portsmouth Public Library and Habitat for Humanity have been recipients of Down by the River Quilt Guild quilts or have benefited from the raffle sales of them. The Down by the River Quilt Guild hopes to raise $2,500 for Main Street Portsmouth.
