C&T Publishing sale in Concord - San Francisco Chronicle- quilting patterns
On Saturday, it will open its warehouse for its annual sale of overstocked, slightly damaged and discontinued inventory. There’s something for most creative types in the inventory of books and products for quiltmaking, fiber arts, needle arts, mixed media and paper crafts. Among these, approximately half are for quilt making, about a quarter are for fiber arts, and the remaining titles are a mix of paper crafts, needle arts and kids crafts. House of Values, a low-profile (never advertises) home furnishings store in San Mateo, has legions of followers because of its 60-year reputation for low prices on a wide array of mid- to high-priced lines of furniture and bedding. Even better, the shop is opening the warehouse behind it so shoppers can have a shot at the old, the orphans (pieces from bedroom or dining sets), discontinued lines, slightly damaged pieces and whatever else the store has accumulated over several years. In the mix, you’ll find upholstery (chairs, sofas, sectionals); dining and bedroom furniture; furniture for children’s rooms; mattress sets or singles; iron beds; occasional furniture pieces and more.
