With a new approach to songwriting and an effort to create something lasting, the group is ploughing new and fertile ground in the Canadian Folk Music Scene. Latendresse, who has been quilting for 25 years, wasn’t planning on owning a quilting business, but when the opportunity came up, she decided to give it a try. The store sells fabric, yarn and anything else necessary for quilting, and it will continue to offer quilting, knitting and crocheting classes like the store before it. Each day of the show will feature a free catwalk fashion show, hosted by Cardonald College and featuring designs by Rachel Powell, Val Hughes and Erika Knight and more.
